How Can Individuals Make A Difference?

1. Who are our social justice leaders? In society, locally, globally, at school

Some global Social Justice Leaders include Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, and Mahatma Gandhi. While they have all passed, their impact and fight for social justice has left a memorable impact on society.

1. How can people work towards a just future for the benefit of all?

People can work towards a just future by learning to be altruistic, and educate themselves on social justice issues.

1. What have you learnt in this unit, in life, at school?

In this unit I have become aware of a variety of social justice issues that violate human rights, in particular, I was shocked to find out that Capital punishment was still legal in many countries.

1. What will you do in your life to make a difference?

With the small platform that I have, I could not make a major impact on Social justice issues, however, I could discuss and help campaign against particular issues to raise awareness.
